Volunteer Opportunities for Literacy

Ridgedale, Minnetonka and Excelsior libraries have year round volunteer opportunities for individuals. Fill out Youth Volunteer Application online and contact individual libraries for current needs.

 

 


Children from low-income families often face extra challenges to learning and doing well in school. IOCP offers Homework Clubs during the academic year at seven apartment neighborhoods in Plymouth. Homework Club connects these youth with volunteer tutors.

Project Pride in Living

 

 

PPL’s wide range of volunteer opportunities lets you share your talents and expertise to strengthen our community. In single day projects or regular involvement in the lives of youth and adults, PPL volunteers help people help themselves.

 

 


Reach Out and Read gives young children a foundation for success by incorporating books into pediatric care and encouraging families to read aloud together. With your help, we can positively impact children’s healthy development.
